UNIVERSAL ORIFICE PLATES

Universal orifice plates are a standard in many industries. When combined with sealing units, this universal style is widely used in orifice fittings. The universal size is the most economical style of orifice plate due to its low initial cost, minimal storage space requirements, and the elimination of the need to stock plates for various pressure ratings.

For larger fittings, universal plates come with bonded rubber seals to ensure a secure seal around the plate. If the seals are damaged, the plates can be returned to us for repair.

PADDLE TYPE ORIFICE PLATES 

Paddle-type orifice plates are used with raised face orifice flange unions, making them the most widely used flow measurement elements globally. Each plate is expertly machined to match the line and flange rating. The plate handle provides identification and information while installed.

RING TYPE JOINT ORIFICE PLATES 

The RTJ type orifice plate includes an integral gasket, either an oval or octagonal ring, for mounting between ring-type joint flanges. Based on proven technology, it has no moving parts and is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure applications.

ORIFICE PLATE SEALING UNITS

DSC, DVS, SSR

DSC DUAL SEAL - Effective for standard flowing streams, it provides four metal-to-metal seals, ensuring a leak-proof seal around the plate and orifice fitting.

DVS DUAL SEAL - For larger sizes, rubber is bonded directly to the outer edge of the orifice plate. If damaged, the  seal and plate can be returned to us for revulcanizing.

SSR SNAP SEAL - Removable orifice plate holder for when elastomer seals are unsuitable. Two metal rings with O-rings ensure a 360° rubber-to-metal seal, centering, and securing the orifice plate.

ORIFICE PLATE SEALING UNITS

TSC, MSC

TSC PTFE SEAL - The PTFE seal is ideal for corrosive flows and high temperatures. The TSC works well with fluids like sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and hydrazine. It consists of an inlet ring around the plate's outer diameter and a downstream ring with metal clips. A special lip and groove ensure effective sealing. 

MSC METAL SEAL - The Metal Seal is a stainless or zinc-plated carbon steel clip ring assembly suitable for high pressures and temperatures up to +275°F. It consists of upstream and downstream rings.
