Centero’s INTREPID Wireless Field Network Manager (WFNM) is a WirelessHART (IEC 62591) compliant Gateway providing wireless connectivity, network, and security management for WirelessHART mesh field instrument networks. Supporting SafeHART™ for safety applications, it is suitable for installation in control rooms or cabinets, with remote antenna options for field connectivity in both non-hazardous and hazardous areas. WirelessHART offers a robust protocol for process measurement, control, safety, and asset management applications. Centero’s WiHART2 transceiver enables scalable networks with extensive coverage. Users can monitor, configure, and manage field instruments via a web-based application, accessing process values and diagnostics through MODBUS/TCP and HART-IP interfaces. All software and firmware components are remotely upgradeable via a secure, AES-256 encrypted and authenticated process.
